A clearer view of your book.
Work through a difficult scene with the editor. See the structure in a chapter plan. Keep your characters and their relationships connected. Try a draft to gauge pace or explore another direction.
Bring in AI wherever it helps. Your manuscript, plan and Codex remain a complete writing workspace throughout.
Your voice is the starting point.
bookmoth analyses your own pages: rhythms, dialogue, texture and habits. It builds a Writing Profile from that evidence and uses it to guide drafting and revision.
It is more than a tone to select. It is a detailed reference built from how you actually write.

Without the profile
The letter arrives at half past ten, slipped into the morning post between an invoice from Hartley & Sons and a brown envelope addressed to Mr Ogden. Margaret sorts the post as she does every morning.
Guided by the profile
The letter arrives with the morning post, mixed in with a conveyance for Mr Ogden’s signature and a circular from the Law Society that Margaret will type up and file and that no one will read.

Your work stays yours.
Your book is saved on your computer or in a folder you choose to sync. bookmoth does not keep a stored copy of it.
With ink, relevant text passes through our relay to Anthropic. The relay does not log or store your prose, prompts or replies. With your own API key, requests go directly to your chosen provider. A local model keeps requests on your computer.
Your Writing Profile is context for the AI, not a newly trained model. bookmoth does not use your writing to train AI. Your chosen provider’s data policies also apply.
